Allana Ferguson bio

Allana competed for Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to miss several seasons before switching back to Rugby League. Allana made her women's debut in rugby league against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana has added radio to her repertoire, and she makes frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a lot to offer, not just a professional athlete but also a teacher with the degree of an educator, has an extensive background beyond sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three different sports including rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player of Australia's Jillaroos team, has had to put a premature end to her professional career in the sport after torn her ACL on a 4th occasion. Ferguson 25 was able to tear her ACL on the same place at ages the age of 15-17 and at 20. After a fourth tear she realized it was the right time to put an end to her. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to quit earlier. The injury was sustained in the month of November while training Ferguson, who has been one of the stars of the women's league over these past few seasons, confirmed the news this week in The Courier Mail.
